Annual services are recommended for domestic Air Conditioning Units, including split systems, flexible ducted units, cassettes, and window box units. Annual services are required to prevent manufacturer’s warranty being void, to keep the Air Coon Units operating effectively and efficiently and for the general health and well-being of our customers and loved ones. Air Conditioning units that are used excessively will require servicing outside the annual recommendation. Situations include working from home etc If you notice issues within your Air Con unit then we recommend getting in touch and getting a diagnostic service.
We provide a range of Air Conditioning services based on what is required. A standard service from $205 incl gst is for Air Conditioning units which are maintained regularly and an extensive service from $299 incl gst is for Air Con Units which have mould &/or black spots present, which are not serviced annually and in situations where they are leaking. A diagnostic service from $249 is required when an Air Conditioning unit is not performing as it should and to locate and diagnose faults within the unit.
The exact price can vary depending on the specifics of the installation &/or replacement and can be quoted directly from our friendly office staff by answering a few simple questions.
It is extremely rare that an AC Unit would need re-gassing if installed correctly and by a licenced Electrician qualified in refrigeration as gas is not meant to escape the unit. Icy pipes and lack of cool air are warning signs that the AC Unit may require re-gassing and or replacing in some cases.
We would attend urgently for ac unit if it was leaking, tripping the power or in a situation where air conditioning is essential.
